Candidate Requirements:
• • Reading drawings and welding instructions, and assessing the situation to understand the shape and dimensions of the welds and the desired quality;
• Checking whether the workpiece conforms to the drawing in terms of shape, dimensions, and cleanliness;
• Tacking and welding complete sections and their components;
• If necessary, moving workpieces and tools, and clamping the workpiece in place;
• You have a technical background:Experience in yacht and shipbuilding is a must;
• Quality is your top priority; you want to perform your work down to the last detail.
• Your welding certificates (131) are up to date and issued by an IACS-accredited classification society, preferably Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas, or DNV.
